Travis County extends Stay Home Order
May 8, 2020
Travis County’s Stay Home Order is extended through June 15 at 11:59 p.m. Residents are asked to continue to limit activity, travel, and business functions to only the most basic and essential needs.
This Order is similar to the previous Stay Home Order that expires on May 8 at 11:59 p.m. It adds businesses included in the Governor’s recent reopening Orders as general exceptions, including hair and nail salons.
The new Travis County Order still recommends everyone to wear a covering over their nose and mouth (i.e. a homemade mask, scarf, bandana, or handkerchief) when leaving their residence. However, no criminal penalties can be imposed for failure to wear a face covering.
Most City facilities remain closed and recreation classes and programs are canceled until further notice. For a full list of modified and reopened services, visit pflugervilletx.gov/reopen.
