Business Pfirst Breakfast Will Toast the New Prost Alehouse Brewery

One of the most anticipated events on the business calendar, the Business Pfirst Breakfast returns on March 24 with “Cheers to Pflugerville,” focusing on Pflugerville’s downtown revitalization and introducing the new Prost Alehouse brewery, which is a key part of the downtown renewal. The networking breakfast is a Business Pfirst Program event hosted quarterly by the Pflugerville Community Development Corporation (PCDC) and will feature the City of Pflugerville and Prost Brewery's efforts in redevelopment.

The upcoming Business Pfirst Breakfast is the first time the gathering will be in person since February 2020, when the popular quarterly events moved online to a webinar format due to the global pandemic. The breakfast on Thursday, March 24 begins at 7:15 a.m. with networking and free breakfast, followed at 7:45 a.m. with the main program, and concluding with a Q&A from 8:45 a.m. to  9 a.m. Register here to attend the event which is being held at Typhoon Texas Austin, 18500 Texas 130 Service Road, in Pflugerville.

“We’re so excited to be back in person, and to welcome Prost Alehouse to Pflugerville,” said Amy Madison, PCDC Executive Director. “Prost Alehouse owners Troy Dudley and Iven Setiawan have done such an amazing job with the space. We can’t wait for them to tell us about their incredible new establishment and how they got there – from selecting the historic 100-year-old building for their location to working with various governmental agencies to become ready to welcome guests and support an onsite brewery.”

The Business Pfirst Breakfast will also be an opportunity to discuss the Pflugerville downtown revitalization, to talk with the owners of the brewery, and to have a ceremonious toast in honor of Prost Alehouse and their grand opening, which is expected to be this summer.

City of Pflugerville officials will also be at the breakfast to present the latest information and plans for a revitalized downtown and plans for growth in the area, as well as to share changes that have happened in the last year and objectives for the coming year. Featured guest speakers include Victor Victor Gonzales, Mayor, City of Pflugerville; Sereniah Breland
City Manager, City of Pflugerville; and Emily Barron, Planning and Development Services Director.
