Press Release
Pflugerville, TX – June 28, 2024 – The Pflugerville Community Development Corporation (PCDC) announces the appointment of Terri Toledo as Interim Executive Director, effective July 1, 2024. The PCDC Board voted for her appointment during a special called meeting on June 25, 2024.
"Terri's background in public administration and her proven leadership within the city administration prepare her well to guide PCDC as we continue our executive director search,” Jeff Thompson, PCDC Board President said. “Toledo’s leadership will build upon the strong foundations already in place, driving forward our mission to enhance economic vitality and quality of life in Pflugerville.”
This announcement follows the retirement of Amy Madison, who served as Executive Director of the PCDC since 2015. Madison retired in June after a distinguished career that significantly contributed to the growth and development of Pflugerville. Following Madison's departure, Christian Kurtz, who served as Interim Executive Director and has a 12-year tenure with PCDC, has accepted an exciting new position as the Director of Liberty Hill Economic Development Corporation. The PCDC is grateful for Kurtz's contributions and wishes him great success in his new role.
Toledo currently serves as the Director of Management Services in the City of Pflugerville City Manager’s Office. Bringing over 14 years of dedicated service to the City of Pflugerville, Toledo has previously held positions including Communications Director and Public Information Officer. Her extensive experience in communications strategy and public outreach has been integral in shaping Pflugerville's community engagement and operational effectiveness.
Looking towards the future, the PCDC is accepting applications for the Executive Director position through July 24, 2024. View the position online at pflugervilletx.gov/jobs.
