Amazon Is One of Many Companies Choosing Pflugerville’s Land Sites for their Location

At the height of the pandemic when businesses were pulling back, e-commerce giant, Amazon.com Inc. opened a 3.8-million-square-foot fulfillment center in Pflugerville, leveraging one of our community’s available land sites.
That Historic Mega Deal Brought $350 Million to our Community & Made Use of One Available Land Site
This win/win situation gave Amazon an incredibly skilled and ready workforce, tremendous location advantages, and incentives. Meanwhile, it brought in 1,000 new full-time jobs with industry-leading pay and comprehensive benefits starting on day one. The Amazon fulfillment center in Pflugerville was the first in the Greater Austin area equipped with state-of-the-art robotics. Their site, at 2000 East Pecan Street, is a prime location near the State Highway 130 (SH 130) Corridor. It’s accessible to our local workforce, which is important since Amazon chose to do almost all its hiring for the massive facility regionally and locally. Amazon’s has committed to being a good neighbor in our Pflugerville community, where we prioritize hometown pride and quality of life.
