Pflugerville residents have access to great doctors and medical care in the community. Below you will find a comprehensive list of doctors in alphabetical order and grouped by speciality.

However, the city’s population is growing quickly and the area will need more doctors. A hospital feasibility study conducted in 2009 showed findings that by 2013, the Pflugerville area will require 316 physicians and psychiatrists, but only 37 doctors are based in the community today.

Doctors looking to open a practice in Pflugerville will be pleased with the high rate of health insurance coverage in the area. Nearly 60 percent of Pflugerville patients’ healthcare bills are covered by commercial health insurance plans, according to the 2009 Pflugerville hospital feasibility study.

Pflugerville has three primary care practices including pediatric and internal medicine physicians.  There are also seven dental practices in a wide range of care and specialities.  Pflugerville recently obtained its first emergency room in the Stone Hill Town Center development.  St. David's medial center has a free standing 24 hour emergency room.  Other hospitals and facilities are in close proximity to Pflugerville.
