Pflugerville Maps

Located 13 miles northeast of Downtown Austin, bordering Austin's City Limits on the south and Round Rock on the north, Pflugerville's current City Limits encompass an area of about 25 square miles and lies at the intersection of state highways 45 and 130 and is 2 miles east of Interstate I-35 in northeast Travis County.

Pflugerville's rapid growth, averaging 6% to 10% per year, renders most City Maps almost out of date as soon as they are drawn.

Pflugerville Highways

Pflugerville is well connected by the Interstate Highway System and the Central Texas Turnpike System.

Pflugerville Arterial Roads 

Connection to the highway systems and access across town is provided through a system of arterial and collector streets.  Pflugerville has added many new road segments recently and several are underway currently.  Additionally, more arterial roads are planned for extension or improvement in the near future.

Airports near Pflugerville

Pflugerville is in the middle of an area served by three airports, and within 20 minutes of each.  Austin-Bergstrom International  is the major airport of the Central Texas region, Georgetown Municipal  and Taylor Municipal  are preferred destinations for general aviation.  Currently under development on Pflugerville's east side is Austin Executive Airport .  When complete, it will have a 6,025 ft hard surface runway that will accomodate more classes of general aviation.  Austin Executive Airport is expected to be complete and put in service in January 2010.

Colleges and Universities near Pflugerville

Pflugerville is convenient and close to many excellent and accredited universities and colleges for first degrees, advanced degrees, and continuing education.

Area colleges and universities are: University of Texas, Austin , Texas State University, Round Rock Campus , St. Edward’s University, Austin , Southwestern University, Georgetown , Concordia University, Austin , Huston-Tillotson University, Austin , Texas State University, San Marcos , and Austin Community College .

Zoning

Pflugerville's land use policy is to reserve the most appropriate land for commercial use while providing an adequate amount of land for residential development.  The recently-adopted SH130 / SH45 Corridor Standards provide for a flexible application of land use standards to the land adjacent to the two highways.

Development Activity

The Pflugerville Planning Department maintains a map that indicates the latest development activity in Pflugerville.  The popular map indicates subdivision, rezoning, site development and similar activity.
