Pflugerville Community Development Corporation Launches New Website

PFLUGERVILLE, Texas (Aug. 21, 2018) – The Pflugerville Community Development Corporation (PCDC) announced an innovative new website that will serve as a valuable resource for site selectors, businesses and residents. The user-friendly site features a comprehensive set of tools and resources for retaining and recruiting companies, community profile data and job searching capabilities, according to the PCDC Executive Director Amy Madison.

“The website is the first place site selectors and real estate agents look to find properties and information about a community. It is vital that we have great tools, easy navigation, and fresh data to keep them coming back,” explained Madison.

Pflugerville is the third fastest growing city in the nation according to the U.S. Census Bureau. Located in Central Texas, just 14 miles northeast of downtown Austin, the city’s burgeoning economy is fueled by a highly skilled workforce, easy access to major transportation routes and excellent quality of life.

The PCDC’s mission is to ensure resources and incentives are available to attract and grow business in Pflugerville. The new website aids with that mission by giving site selectors access to a robust module of tools to search properties, compare communities, learn about available incentives, the area workforce and more.

“We needed a solid website company that understood economic development and would be responsive to our need for a new design and enhanced and integrated tools. Golden Shovel was able to be that company for us,” said Madison.

The PCDC selected Golden Shovel Agency to create the website after conducting a competitive bid process. The national economic development communications firm is recognized for its award-winning design and expertise in business and workforce attraction.

“Our team was pleased to work with Pflugerville Community Development Corporation on this project. The online portal we developed illustrates the area’s considerable business advantages,” said Aaron Brossoit, CEO of Golden Shovel.
