Typhoon Texas will take over Hawaiian Falls Pflugerville
After investment, water park will open in May
Typhoon Texas Waterparks have been named the new operator for Hawaiian Falls, a water park in Pflugerville that defaulted on their agreement with the city of Pflugerville and Pflugerville Community Development Corp.
The city of Pflugerville, PCDC and representatives from Typhoon Texas were present at tonight’s joint special meeting where both PCDC and city council members unanimously approved motions to name Typhoon Texas the new water park operator. An investment will be made in upgrading the park before it opens in May.
“The Pflugerville water park needed investment and changes to be successful. After exploring options for more than a year with our partners at the city of Pflugerville, we believe we have found the right operator who shares our vision for the park,” PCDC Executive Director Amy Madison said in a statement.
